Troubleshooting: Screen recording/Continuous sound card recording not working because of a recent Windows update

If you get the message below in Audials 2024, 2025 or 2026

please uninstall your Audials version from Control Panel, delete the entire Audials folder from the following location: C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\Audials
 
then
 

• download your Audials 2024 / 2025 version again from here https://support.audials.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000185360-Previous-Versions-Downloads or latest Audials 2026 directly from our website
• it should bring you also the latest Streaming Service (issue was solved in Streaming Service 3.3.980.0, so you must have a higher version than that), otherwise the fix won't be applied (before installing Audials, try to disable your firewall/antivirus program)
• go  Audials Options >  to General view > down the page to Drivers Manager:

• please install the drivers again
• reboot your system

• start Audials and see if it works
   

  Please be aware that for older Audials version, the fix could not be applied.
