Hulu doesn't detect end of program

    Are you using manual or automatic detection recording?

    Have you already tried with another kind of browser if the behaviour is the same?

    I am having the same problem using both Hulu and Starz. This happens when using automatic detection. I have not tried using manual. The browser I am using is Chrome. In automatic detection mode I can not use any other browser. I attempted to use Firefox, but in this browser I can not get videos to detect at all.

    Same problem here... Chromium Edge doesn't detect it either. Frustrating having to manually record a tv series one episode at a time.

    HvyHitR, please also try with Chrome or Firefox.

    Chrome already tested (why I said "same" problem) and Firefox doesn't auto-detect/start recording on any streaming service - meaning Firefox is useless... not to forget it is not able to handle over 720p either.

    The response from support is as follows (no real help):

    The problem with Hulu might be indeed still present because we no longer have a valid Hulu account to make further tests, our Project Manager tries for a while to receive acceptance to make one.

    All we can do is to ask you to share with us the Hulu serie which you would like to record, the used browser version, send us a few screenshots illustrating the problem and also all the generated log files in order to update this in our developers database.

    To add to the frustration, here is a response from support 2 years ago when I bothered to follow through with logs and screenshots:

    Unfortunately right now our QA team can not test Hulu, because their subscription has been expired but it will be renewalled as soon as possible... so regarding Hulu we can not help you right now.

    Has there been a fix for this yet? If not, I may cancel this program since I’m sure there are better ones on the market.
