Registration on our website / Creating an Account.
The registration with an account on our website, is intended to enable Audials to offer customers services that may only be offered to registered users.
One such service is the functionality of Audials software, that allows users to access their own data (such as favorite radio stations) on different devices (for example a PC, smartphone, web browser). To provide this kind of functionality, the registration with an Audials Account is necessary. This Account can be used to authenticate the user on other devices and gives only him access to his data.
In general, the use of a "login with password" to protect personal data is not only compliant with the GDPR, but also necessary for data protection reasons, as this is the only way to rule out the possibility of unauthorized access, e.g., another person could watch the radio stations you prefer.
Deletion of an Account
If a customer wishes to request the erasure of personal data stored by the Audials AG, he or she may, at any time, contact the support department ( support@audials.com )
In the process of deleting an account, all the user data will be deleted from our database, excepting the order information, in case the user has ordered a product. This exception is due to accounting obligations. The data, related to that user, will be erased from our support system, including the E-Mail history, so a new account will be required for future support requests.
In case that the user has purchased Audials products, using our payment service provider, Digital River, there is the possibility, that personal information is stored in their domain. To delete this data, the user may directly contact their support department (MyCommerce Digital River ordersupport@mycommerce.com )
Once the deletion process is started, it cannot be reversed.
