Casting - playing when lost connection
Hello everyone.
I use Audials for Android to cast radio stations to my MiBox.
When I turn off the MiBox or lose wifi connection (for example when I leave the house), the app loses connection with the mibox and the phone starts playing radio in my pocket which is a bit annoying.
I would like the app not to continue playing the radio through the phone's speaker when the connection to the casting receiver is lost.

Hi! I totally understand the issue you're experiencing—it can be pretty frustrating when the audio switches to your phone’s speaker unexpectedly. One possible solution would be to check if the Audials app has any setting related to handling connection loss or audio output preferences. Some apps allow you to configure how they behave when disconnected from a casting device. If this option isn't available, maybe consider reaching out to Audials support to suggest adding a feature that would let the app automatically pause or stop playback if the connection is lost.
In the meantime, as a workaround, you could try using a Wi-Fi range extender or make sure the MiBox stays within range of your Wi-Fi, though I know that’s not always practical. Hopefully, Audials will add an option to prevent this issue from happening in future updates!
