Recording settings for best possible audio quality
Hello,
I'm confused by which settings should be used for audio recording, namely should the system default be selected, or should I select the sound card on my PC from the drop down list?
Will audials use the actual sound card or the virtual card, and does it depend on the above selection?
The virtual card is limited to CD quality (on my system at least) whereas my Soundblaster can record in theory up to 24bit/190Kz.
Cheers,
Al
