Editing End of Song Clips Saved File Early

When editing the end of a song file downloaded from YouTube and saving, the saved file is clipped off far earlier than I selected with the cutting tool. For example, I have a song lasting 3:10. I use the cutting tool to clip it at 2:38 and hit SAVE. The resulting saved file is clipped instead at 1:30. 

This has happened on multiple different files using Audials 2021 even though I am doing the editing the same way I did it successfully in previous versions (2019) of Audials. I do not understand what I am doing wrong.
