High speed recording = high speed playback!?

Using AudialsOne 2021. Recording from Spotify at high speed. Playback is also at high speed - not normal speed. How do I play back at normal speed/re-record at normal speed - playback at high speed is pointless...tried converter to re-record but that didn't work. Thanks.
