Sound missing from screen recording

I understand it is a known problem that sound is not recorded when screen recording.

Initially Both Audials AND the screen recording facility within via the keyboard would record video, but not the audio.

Some time later I am attempting to screen record via Audials again, and despite the our engineers are working on it message still no audio. However the screen save audio via the print screen key on my keyboard DOES record audio.

  Try a quick test using the screen recording feature from Audials for YouTube. Does it work? Could the problem be with a specific source?

  Thanks for the responses, after a long wait where I haven't bothered to try to use Audials1, I tried it today and it screen records as before, so whether it was the Audials engineers, or Windows updates, I am finally after months of not using it able to use Audials again.
