I had the same issue as well. I couldnt unsinstall it because i only get the option to repair. I did that and i still got the error. i tried downloading a fresh webview2 download from Microsoft but it said it was already installed.

I then tried to uninstall from the command line (https://superuser.com/questions/1743585/how-to-uninstall-microsoft-edge-webview2)

running the command in the command line, while it didnt give me any errors, it didnt look like it uninstalled. so i went ahead and rebooted my computer. when i opened audials again and tried, i didnt get the error. Not sure if the same will help you, but thats what i did and it worked.

I haven’t upgraded to 2024 yet but the 2023 Audials is also having the same issue. I fixed it once by installing the PlayOn program then uninstalling PlayOn it broke it again. Assuming the audials webview2 is broken and PlayOn uses webview2 as well so that fixes it. At least for me it did.

If you're encountering an issue with WebView2 being labeled as "not installed properly" after upgrading to Audials 2024, you can try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the problem:

    1. Check WebView2 Version: Ensure that you have the correct version of WebView2 installed. Audials may require a specific version of WebView2 to function correctly. You can download WebView2 from the official Microsoft website if needed.

    2. Reinstallation: Sometimes, reinstalling WebView2 can resolve compatibility issues. Uninstall WebView2 and then download and install it again from Microsoft's official website.

    3. Audials Update: Check if there are any updates available for Audials. The issue may be related to compatibility with the version of Audials you're using. Upgrading to the latest version might resolve the problem.Krudplug Turkey

Check Installation: Start by verifying that WebView2 is indeed properly installed on your system. You might need to reinstall it or update it to the latest version if there's an issue with the current installation.

Audials Settings: Sometimes, software settings or configurations might conflict with the installed components. Check Audials' settings or preferences to ensure it's recognizing WebView2 properly.

I'm having this same problem with Audials 2024: Audials says it's a problem, Microsoft says it's not.  Does anybody know if Audials has corrected this issue?  I'm not interested in throwing good money after bad if it's still a problem in 2025 and 2026.  It would be nice if Audials would leave a comment that they have resolved the problem.

    Hello,

Please try to completely remove Audials:

You should be able to uninstall all Audials versions via the Windows Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Programs and Features).

Please also use Revo Uninstaller (https://www.revouninstaller.com/de/revo-uninstaller-free-download/) to remove any remaining traces of Audials.

Then please restart your computer, temporarily disable your firewall/antivirus program, and install the latest Audials version as administrator from here:

    - Audials 2026 https://mirror.audials.com/audialsone/download.php?_gl=1*1wmkxdg*_gcl_au*NTIzMDc0MzAwLjE3NTMzNjI2MDg.
