Recording Sky

Audials does not support the recording from Sky Ticket App, Sky Wow and since recently (June 2024) also from Sky Go App.

Audials can and may record any video streaming service, as long as the DRM protection "against recording" is not bypassed.

Almost all providers stream their videos without such "recording protection" - only for some videos in the highest resolution (4k) is recording technically prevented.

According to our preliminary findings, Sky Go built recently exactly such "recording protection" into the latest version of its Windows software, and unfortunately it was activated for all resolutions, and for the moment Sky does not offer a web browser version without such protection like other providers.

We regret this decision by Sky. Unfortunately, Audials can no longer record from the Sky software until further notice.
