Audials Upgrade Price Policy

What is the policy on upgrades and your pricing of such?

I just purchased Audials 2020 and then two days later you come out with version 2021.  When I look to see how to upgrade I am taken to a page that wants to charge me an additional $40 for the upgrade.

I am within my "14 day money back no questions asked guarantee", I asked about this upgrade cost and about getting a refund so I could purchase the new version at the same price as the old one, but I have yet to hear back from support. 

Does anyone have any experience with this?
