Doesn't seem to be any new features in the "upgrade." Not much of a sales pitch. "Now you have another subscription."

    Ich wollte auch schon fragen, wo denn nun der Mehrwert der neuen Version liegt.

    Den Unterschied zwischen der normalen und der Pro-Version mit KI gibt es ja schon länger. Aber ich denke das ich ab dieser Version nun endgültig raus bin. Ich kaufe es gefühlt seit Jahrzehnten. Aber nun... Nur noch jährliche Zahlweise als Abo...

    Addios Audials.

    Auch ich sehe keinen Mehrwert im Abo. Werde auch nicht Upgraden.

    Ich bin auch draußen nachdem ich bestimmt mindestens 15 Jahre (bestimmt aber länger) als Kunde die Software gekauft habe. Aber reine Abo-Software oder besser gesagt Mietsoftware die ich nach Kündigung nicht mehr benutzen kann geht in meinen Augen gar nicht. Ein absolutes NoGo. No-Kaufversion No Buy.

    I reluctantly purchased. I seem to purchase the new version every year anyway. My reason comes down to think the lack of support for the older version. Hopefully I could download the 2026 version again and use that if finances change and I can't afford another subscription renewal.

    OK, ich dachte ich würde mit meiner Meinung alleine da stehen. Aber scheinbar doch nicht ganz.

    Da gamefreak83 das auch so schrieb, und Audials das gar nicht mehr anzeigt. Ich bin seit Audials 3 im Jahr 2009 dabei...

    17 Jahre... Treuer Kunde...

    Damals war das ein Upgrade-Kauf, vom RadioTracker Plantinum, was glaub ich mal eine Chip-Adventskalender-Version aus 2008 war. Und da hab ich für 19,90€ auf Audials One 3 geupgradet... Das war im Juni 2009. Und im Oktober 2009 bin ich dann, für 29,90€ zur Audials One 4 gegangen... Usw...

    Und nun...?

    Tja, wahrscheinlich hat Audials genug andere Kunden. Schade...

    "Upgrade" to a yearly subscription model?!

    I'd rather purchase the 2027 version. Don't need another subscription to keep track of.
    Too bad. The software has been pretty decent.

    Oh well, I stopped using Adobe, so guess I can stop using this as well.

    Gibt es tatsächlich als Upgrade-Option nur noch ein Abo?

    Eine Einmalzahlung kann ich nicht mehr finden. Dann werde ich auch nicht mehr upgraden. Wirklich schade. 

    Hoffentlich wird in Zukunft wieder eine Einmalzahlung angeboten.

    I have been a customer since it was still called Tune Byte, but I am not "upgrading' to a subscription. Changing this to a subscription plan is a huge mistake. This is not that kind of software, and people are sick of subscriptions. The 2026 or even 2025 version already does 98% of anything I will evert want to do, so I would be essentially rebuying the core functionality over and over again. There are a plethora of free apps that are far better at cataloging, organizing and playing the saved music/video, all I want Audials to do is find and record stuff in high quality, be able to convert formats, and maybe enhance the quality. I already have that. I will be be sticking with what I have. I hope they rethink this, they are pricing themselves out of business.

    I agree that the upgrade should make the new features clearer. With subscriptions, it can also be useful to keep track of renewal dates and when a current plan expires. I usually use a simple date calculator when I need to work out the number of days between two dates.

    I think atleast a monthly option would be nice for people who don’t want to commit to a full year right away. It’d be good to have a bit more choice when upgrading. I too support the one-time payment method.
