Strange problem with iphone / playback
I've been recording my son's college radio show for weeks to keep an archive for him. I recorded a special episode last night - the recording was a little over 2 hours. I checked the file and it played back fine on my iphone. I shared it to dropbox and noticed it was half the amount of space as the others (ie 61.3mb vs 120mb). I checked the file again and it's empty / blank and only a little over 1 hour! I checked on my iphone a second time and the same thing there - and it's the exact file I had played earlier and checked that it wasn't blank.
What could've happened? To me it almost seems like audials confusing scrambled it so it's meta data cut it half / double speed saved; but then I'd expect to hear a sped up recording, or if it flipped from something like 44.1k to 88.2k I'd expect it to have all sorts of pitch shift or SOMETHING; not blank. Has something like this happened before?

What's strange is I can see the file info and tit says 1:03:49, stereo and 44.1k; but I KNOW the show was over 2 hours and it played back fine before I moved it! So somehow the file's meta / recording data got screwed up; and it being only 61mb makes me fear that the file is lost; which sucks. Again; I LISTENED to the recording before I uploaded so it's very strange.
