Audials Files not recognized in Plex?

I am having issues with my Audials files being recognized in Plex, I am not sure if it something on the Plex side, or Audials side of things and how Audials names the files.

Has anyone else had this issue?

  Audials default name format is not a format Plex likes.
  
  Plex format Movie Format = Title (Year) 
  Plex format tv show format = Title (Year) - S00E00 - Episode Title

  If you want Audials to auto name in format Plex recognizes (Audials 2024)

  1. Click Gear with person above give feedback
  2. Click options
  3. Click Storage, Output & Collections
  4. Hover over PC on the right side
  5. Click the gear the appears
  6. Click Expert
  7. Click Video
  8. Scroll Down/ Find Movies
  9. Click the drop down
  10. Scroll all the way to the bottom 
  11. Click Add/Edit rules (A new window should open)
  12. Scroll all the way down to the bottom
  13. Click New Rule (A new window should open)
  14. Change Custom Rule 1 (If you want)
  15. Click below rule the black/gray box (Example of rule I created)
  16. 
  17. Click OK
  18. Find TV Shows and click right down arrow
  19. Click Add/Edit Rules (A new window should open)
  20. Scroll all the way down to the bottom
  21. Click New Rule (A new window should open)
  22. Change Custom Rule 1 (If you want)
  23. Click below rule the black/gray box (Example of rule I created)

  27. Click OK
  28. Click OK
  29. I click top option "To all existing and all new files" (But this is your choice
  30. Click the  X in top right hand corner

  HINT 1 = for above there is times rules, + adds to wrong section (Especially when you only type one letter). Type something random that at least a couple letters and erase it. That should make + add to the end

  I also use Filebot (One time payment software = $48) for naming anything on Plex since it auto renames and moves TV shows and Movies in the right folder.

  I faced a similar problem. Ensure Audials files follow Plex compatible naming conventions and consider refreshing your Plex library after any changes.
