Do I need to stop what I am doing while recording?

I am sorry, if that is a silly question. I just wanna start to record something and since it is using the soundcard and the grafic card i am wondering if i need to stop using my PC while recording. For example watching youtube videos or having a chat in discord with friends. Playing computer games. In short .. everything that produces sounds, that could interfere with the recording.

Sorry, if thats a comon question. I never used this sort of recorder before.

  You should be OK browsing but I would leave doing everything else you mention to you have finished recording.
