Spotify Recording - first seconds of each track missing

It is impossible to record audiobooks from Spotify: Using the audibook setting and either the remote controlled app or the in-app playback function results in tracks that are missing the first few seconds. It doesn't matter which record speed I use - it happens with 10x as well as with 1x recording speed.

It works better (but not flawless), if I use the browser to record, but for whatever reason it is only possible to set the bitrate to 128 kbps or 320 kbps - both setting don't make sense for Spotify free!

This is really not acceptable. And if there is no fix I'll go for refund.
