Chromecast stopped working
I have been using audials on various android devices to cast audio to a Grace Digital Mondo+ radio. Until today no problem. Today the radio is discovered normally and the android device thinks it's connected but the audio never transfers to the radio and keeps playing on the android device. This is happening with a number of different Android devices that until today worked just fine. I tested the radio with Tunein on one of my Android devices and it connected and played without issue.
Can someone help?

Thanks everyone for bringing the issue to our attention so quickly!
We were able to fix this, quickly on Monday morning, on our servers. So no app update required. And several of you users already confirmed it's working again :-)
Indeed, the cause for the problems was a server outage - or rather, a missing configuration after a server update. Said server configuration doesn't do much - it simply provides the Chromecast receiver endpoint. But of course, without it, Chromecast just doesn't work. We now also have measures in place to avoid such an issue from happening again, in the future.
Happy listening!

I'm glad to hear I'm not alone. I sent basically the same message I posted above to support@audials.com. If I hear back from them I'll post the response. Hopefully it will be an easy and quick fix.

- Make sure that your recording software or app supports recording at 5x speed. Not all recording software may offer this feature.
- Check the settings or preferences within the recording software to see Iamnobody89757 if there's an option to adjust the recording speed.
-
Update Software:
- Ensure that your recording software, as well as your Chromecast device, are updated to the latest versions.
- Updates may include bug fixes and improvements that could resolve issues with recording at higher speeds.

It seems like your Chromecast has stopped working. This can be quite frustrating, especially if you're used to streaming your favorite content seamlessly. The issue could be due to a variety big diamond on tooth/teeth of reasons, such as a disrupted Wi-Fi connection, outdated firmware, or even a temporary glitch with the device itself. To troubleshoot, start by checking your Wi-Fi connection and ensuring that both your Chromecast and the streaming device are connected to the same network.
