Video editor
UPDATE: I did the most recent update and tried on new file and that appears to work, I'll do more testing. However, when I go to resave the file after being edited, I noticed that the file size is drastically smaller, even though I cut out about 3 or 4 minutes of ads from a 30 minute file. Example: original file size is 479 MB, the edited file removing 2 minutes of ads dropped down to 187 MB, then editing again to remove the other 2 minutes of ads the file size dropped further to 157 MB.
I'm still using Audials 2022 since there are always glitches with the new release and this one seems to be working good enough for me except this issue.
The video editor feature would be great in order to cut out ads but I've noticed a problem. When I edit out a bunch of ads and resave as a new file, the video seems to freeze at end of the edit. There is still sound but for about 5 or more seconds the video is a frozen while I hear dialog, then the video jumps to the proper spot.

Thanks for sharing that.

I've experienced similar issues with file size reduction and freezing video when using different video editors. It can be quite frustrating! If you're open to trying alternative software, I've had great success with a video editor that specializes in maintaining video quality while cutting out ads. The tools there are intuitive and I've never encountered freezing issues after removing ads. Plus, the file sizes remain consistent with the expected reduction in content. You might find it helpful to give it a try: a video editor that specializes in maintaining video quality while cutting out ads. Hopefully, this helps and resolves the glitches you're facing with Audials 2022!
