I have used Audials 2022 to record video with subtitles using Microsoft Edge. It's VERY clunky. Even though the subtitles file exists in my Audials download, it cannot be accessed. I have to add subtitles myself using workarounds and web searches. I was told that the subtitles file that already exists in the Audials recording would be made available in a later version of Audials.
Cue the arrival of Audials 2023. I open up the ad and read this: "PERFECT SUBTITLES: Download subtitles directly from your streaming provider in any language of your choice, or simply use the subtitle search engine."
I immediately purchase Audials 2023 to get this feature.
But when I record a subtitled recording in Microsoft Edge, I find no subtitles file waiting for me. There are the same two choices as before: I can provide my own subtitles file, or I can have Audials search for one.
What happened to the promise that I could "download subtitles directly from my streaming provider"?
I am VERY annoyed and disappointed. If there isn't some sort of improvement on this, I will immediately cancel my order and go right back to using Audials 2022.
