Audials sound output after recording sounds like crap - Overdriven and clipped output.

Whatever sound/Audio service I am recording from, whether it is Spotify/ Apple/etc. Recording goes ok, but when I playback, it sounds like crap. The volume is clipped and there is much distortion. I have tried System Default for sound and my Realtek Hi Def Audio, it does not make a difference. Even If I play back MP3's from my collection of music that was not recorded directly from a Stream, it sounds bad. What can I do to clean up this sound difference. Seems like a app issue as opposed to a hardware issue..If I play any music from Apple Library using Itunes,it sounds fine, If I play the same music in Audials, it sound like crap. Not impressed at all with this new Audial One 2022 version. Any suggestions as to what might be causing this sound clipping and distortion. Volume is set to medium values and not very high at all.

  Figured out my issue as the EQ was set on Audials to max on all frequencies thus creating a sound mess. Once i either shut off EQ or fixed the EQ to set up a better sound output the quality of the audio improved and seems to be normalized now. Thanks. My bad!!!

  Well, I've rest the EQ on all frequencies and the recording still sound horrible.  Is anyone else having these issues.  I'm trying to figure this out.
