No Video on recordings
I just purchased a new Dell computer with Windows 11 and I use Chrome as my browser. Since YouTube TV is not a preset option I have to use the screen recording option. After recording several shows I have just gone back to check them and discovered I have audio but no video and do not see anything in the help that tells me what to check for or how to fix.
I am up-to-date with Chrome and Windows.
Can anyone help me? Or did I waste money on software I can't get to work correctly?
Youtube TV or Youtube software were never tested by Audials, only Youtube webplayer (browser). Audials was designed to record only from the normal Youtube which plays in browser.
Might be that the videos played there are protected, their content have a special layer which does not allow to other software to record it, the behaviour described by you confirms that, only sound recorded and a black picture.
Also the download of premium Youtube videos (which are not available without the login) is something Audials still can't do ... so, if some generally-available Youtube URL can't be downloaded with Audials, then that might be a bug, but if you can't download only paid, protected content - then there is nothing to do with it yet.
