Screen recording Sling-commercials are fine, program is BLACK

Windows 10, Audials 2021

I am trying to screen record off of sling.  I set the screen capture area and the program looks fine as it plays.  On playback the commercials show up the program has a black screen and the audio is ok.  Using Edge (and had tried Chrome with sandbox mode)

WHAT is going on?  As I note I see the program as it plays but when I play it back the program is black and the commercials show up fine.

  Adding to this I tried on a different PC and didn't have the issue so it'/s something Sling IS doing differently on programs versus commercials but what?  I'm going to try on the same original pc with safe mode (which will not be pretty but a good test of removing any advanced graphic card functions)
