Where are recordings saved?

I see under "Storages & output" I can designate a location for temporary files. When I do that it creates a number of folders. When I make a screen recording, it's there to be viewed in the app under "Last 100" but doesn't appear to exist in any of those folders in the temp directory. So where is it? Yes, I can click on it in the app and choose export to save it but where is it before that? There's also a version of it somewhere after that since it still shows up in the Last 100 section so where?

  The recordings will be saved to your base folder which you define in the Storages & output setting, then click on the gear under PC. You need to select a different base folder for each media type (Audio or Video). Once you set the base folder, the files will be saved in a sub-folder within your base folder.

  I have a base folder but need to change it as the hard drive is no longer available. When I attempt to create a new base folder I geta message that the base folder cannot be created. How can I correct this?
