Spotify not working Again • Reinstalled Audials Music 2021 Windows ver
Audials stopped downloading Spotify early 24th. I did send a support request and didn't supply a full log so sent it today. However, since there are reports of others not being able to download from Spotify, I said screw it, I would use the Microsoft uninstall tool. I have been opposed to this because of another similar problem 2 years ago and the result after using the MS tool was required to reinstall windows 10. So with concern, I would be put through another Win10 install, I went ahead and used the MS un -install tool. It did an uninstall but didn't clean up after itself. Lots of remaining files. I deleted all the remaining files, and re-installed Audials Music 20201. result ... NO JOY the exact same problem exists. I can drag & drop spot tracks onto audials, but the downloading process stops at connection.
Let us know if you somehow got Spotify to download songs.

yes, indeed, our support and developers could reproduce this issue only yesterday evening when a newer Spotify update (1.1.60.668.gff09d345 / 1.1.60.668.gff09d345-a) was made available also for us and we have posted also an article here to inform our users about this inconvenience:

PS: we ask always our users about complete details like their Spotify complete version number, used albums, screenshots illustrating the issue and the generated logs so that we can ask our developers to investigate the problem as soon as possible... without these details, we can not do much if we can not reproduce the same problem here on our test systems

Thank you, Andreea, I got the email regarding the issues is now known and a post with current issues saying Tech is on it.
FYI all, Andreea is top-notch Audials support tech she gives good advice and is paying attention. I appreciate that Audials is seriously taking care of us. On the same day Audials Music stopped working for Spotify, another app I use to download from YTube, which I used for 2 years as a freebie, then decided ok will pay they deserve it and even responded quickly when I asked questions. So in Jan I paid, the cost was fair. Well, it failed for 1st time in 2 years, they are usually ahead of the game with constant updates. I sent 3 emails for support, in course of 5 days, I haven't got a reply yet. By comparison, Audials is 500% better, with customer/tech support

Spotify Working again! check your spotify search plugin for version 3.5.316.0
open options > search plugin > uncheck spotify, (plug-in info will be gray) uncheck spotify makes Info active, check for the 3.5.316.0 version.
I did 3 types of downloads, share link, drag and drop single song, drag and drop up to 17 songs.. All worked fined. Tag info artist - song title - album usually there , genre depends on the source, date surprisingly is usually right.
Note: there seem to be screen glitches when spot app either closed or suspended when download song process started. The spotify app keeps trying to restart, sometimes playing a song, sometimes requiring manual close. This has always been a problem however seems more frequent now.
Happily, it is working to download. YaY
