Downloading from Audible
Hello. I am an Audible subscriber in Spain.
What is the best way to download audiobooks? I see that there is no pre-built option for this platform.
Is it possible to record at 2x to cut the recording time in half?
(I am a new user).

Hello,
I am also Audible user. There is no way to download Audible audiobooks directly. Of course you can re-record them as audio while listening. But this is not the recommended way.
To remove the DRM and convert your audiobook e.g. to MP3, audible used to have a function, that you can virtually burn your audiobook in iTunes and use the Audials virtual CD-R tool to catch the tracks. However, this function was broken in recent versions. (Another drawback is, that at end an beginning oif a "CD" some seconds are repeated, so it was necessary to edit and cut the files...
Today, I recommend the following way: Download the open source software AaxAudioConverter by audiamus on Github (just google). This tool converts the AAX file directly without virtual burning via iTunes and uses the license from the Audible app on the computer. Saves a lot of time and effort.

Thanks to both of you for the reply.
Unfortunately, Audible in its version in Spain does not have the option to download the audiobooks in subscription version. I may have bought them, but I don't have any.
In fact, there are no more apps than mobile and web player.
The only way is to record at the same time as it is played (or I do not know another for the Spanish version).
I'll try Denisa's option.
The audiobook in question lasts 10 hours. I hope it can record at 2X and take only 5.
Thanks again to both of you.
