The USB CODEC input not recognized by Audials 2019

I am new to Audials and need to know if I purchased the wrong software for my Windows PC.  I need to record LP's using the USB output from my Audio Technica turntable.  The software does not recognize the USB port even when the audio input is active and playing.  Any suggestions?
