Audials One 2021:Custom Video Profile Configuration Not Sticking

Setting custom video profile configuration. 

Container: MP4

Codec: H.264

 

For the GPU Bit Rate, no matter what I set it to for Exact/VBR, it always goes back to 98. If I set it to 80 and click OK, if I reopen the profile, the setting has gone back to 98. My changes are discarded.

    I have the same problem.

    And its is not limited to MP4 Container and H.264 it also happen's at MKV container and H.265 and all combinations of this.

    There is also another bug: after modifing a custom profil and saving it, the profil is no longer selected, instead one of the basic profile got selected...

    Even worse: even if you reselect your custom profil, as soon as you got back to the main window of audials movie, you find a basic profil selected at the bottom line of the window... You can click on it and reselect it forever, as soon as you are back to main window a basic profile will be selected.

    So at the moment its impossible to actual use your custom profiles: it always loads the basic profil from which your personal profile was derived.

    having the same problem. bought the software just today.it´s way beyond annoying that this does not work.

    but to be sure: if I configure a custom profile I should be able to record Disney+ in 1080p or even 4k, right?

    Hi Bred1982,

    The maximum resolution which Disney+ or other source will stream depends on the content. Some content is just never - in no browser - available in 1080p.You can check current resolution by pressing ctrl+alt+shift+D in Edge).

    For Disney+ we don't have any ways to affects its decision what resolution to use. Disney+ decides itself - if you are lucky - you can get FullHD. Sometimes, for some movies. But that's not because Audials did something for it, just because Disney+ decided to allow FullHD for you. You could try with different browsers. I was able to record some movies in 1080p from Edge chromium and Chrome.
