Cannot delete a recording

I have the Audials app installed on my Samsung S8 phone. I've used it to record some radio shows. I can see the shows in my Recordings but I cannot delete any of the recordings. I've tried pressing the 3 dots next to each recording and choosing Delete, but nothing happens. I've also tried using the red pencil on the bottom of the screen, then selecting the recording, pressing the X and choosing Delete, but again nothing happens.

Please advise because at some point I will run out of space.

  Hy Klavierfrau,

  When you are in the Recordings view, select the ,,Rescan files collection'' button from settings and try again.

  Sorry, but I've been all through settings and there's nothing that says "Rescan files collection." I'm using the Android app.
