Seems to be some kind of incompability between the latest Chrome browser and Audials 2020.

Our developer team will take a look on it.

Many thanks! In the meantime, I think I have it working (subject to further tests!) ...

... there's an (advanced) setting in Chrome "Use hardware acceleration when available" that needs to be enabled - irrespective of what is set in the Audials download panel.

Adam does your record in 1080p from Chrome?

No matter what i do i cannot get 1080p Audials team advised Wonder Woman is not available in 1080p which is rubbish.

When i play in Edge i get 1080p. Chrome not even 720p

Audials can you guys fix this or give me a refund as you advertised your product to record in full HD which is not true....

Korny - I'll try getting around to recording a 1080p movie shortly. So far I've only been doing short tests and haven't really kept an eye on resolutions.

I have the opposite problem I was able to use netflix with firebox before but now I get recording error. If it had worked the file would have been 1280 over something. Netflix works with google chrome but it creates a much smaller file is there something I need to be doing in Chrome to get a larger file? thanks!

In chrome it recorded one movie on netflix at 960x540 even though 1080 was enabled  (in firefox it seemed to attempt to record that same movie in 1280xsomething but I got the error on that). I tried a different movie and it recorded that one at 1920x1080 (just a minute or so to test I didn't want the whole thing). So the first movie would it be something to do with the way netflix is streaming it  . . . but notice it would have been bigger in firefox if that had worked.  thanks!

Can anyone that is seeing this now play 720 in chrome any more at all?

The previous film that would stream at 720 in Chrome now only streams at 540. Only Netflix originals will go up to 720. And doesn't matter which computer I try or event a clean install of chrome without being signed in.

Yes i too am seeing this issue, right now when i do "Charlotte's web" film i get full HD 1920 fine, however when i do "The Back-up Plan" or "Babe" both are showing 960 resolution and no matter what i do, i get this everytime.

i have tried now over 7 times in fact, and the same happens everytime, it is repeatable for me
