lost sound
after installing Audials One 2019, it worked fine untill i rebooted the computer, after the reboot the volume control would stay at the bottom, trying to drag it up produced some garbled static as it returned to the bottom. I uninstalled audials and rebooted and it worked fine and i got sound back, note this was not the first program i uninstalled. i first uninstalled skype, it updated after the first reboot and i thought maybe it was the problem, so after uninstalling skype and rebooting the problem still remained, thats when i unistalled Audials. uninstalling alone did not fix the problem, only after the reboot did the volume control start working. I'm running windows 7 on a core i7 with 16gig or ram, on a gigabyte mainboard Z77X-UD3H, using the onboard sound VIA HD

Could you please check if there is any driver update for your soundcard? If so, please install it.
Also, please check that after reboot that your physical sound output is selected as default sound output device. In case another sound device is chosen, changing loudness level would not effect on your physical sound card.

ok think i already had the latest drivers but downloaded and installed anyways, was from 2014, after that I reinstalled Audials One, and it worked fine until i rebooted. on boot up the windows chime started then was cut off half way, check the volume control and found it set at minimum and I'm not able to change it. verified my output device and its set correctly.

ok just in case someone else has this problem, it seems the solution was to install as administrator. to be clear, instead of just double clicking the install file, right click on it and select the "run as administrator" option. looks like if you don't the drivers don't install properly.
