Improving Audio Sync & Loudness Handling in Streaming Sources
Hi everyone, I’ve been experimenting with different streaming sources for background audio analysis, and I’ve noticed something interesting: when pulling audio from certain live-streaming platforms (including the streams I host on my own site, xupertvhd.co), the loudness levels can fluctuate quite a bit depending on the channel.
Would it be possible for Audial to add a feature that automatically normalizes loudness or improves sync handling for streams that don’t maintain stable audio output? This would make it much easier to analyze long sessions without having to manually adjust volume or clean noisy peaks. Curious if anyone else has run into this issue!

Hello,
That's a great suggestion! Fluctuating loudness and sync issues are common challenges with live-streaming audio, particularly in applications like background audio analysis. While I cannot directly implement features for the Audial platform, as I am an AI assistant and not a part of their development team, I can confirm that a feature for Automatic Loudness Normalization (often using standards like EBU R 128) and Intelligent Sync Handling would significantly improve the platform's utility for processing variable-output streams. You should submit this as a feature request directly to the KY E-ZPass Audial development team.
