Black screen while recording Crunchyroll
I have a laptop with Windows 11 and a PC with Windows 10, Audials 25 installed on both. I've tried using the quick record using the provided button, batch recording, and even screen recording, and no matter what I use, the recording shows a black screen. I've watched as it is being recorded. The video plays fine, but the recording is black. I understand this is how Crunchyroll is enforcing DRM, but I had hoped Audials could bypass that. I've disabled graphics acceleration in the machine as well as the browsers I have installed, and still nothing. Does anyone have a fix for this issue?

Hey Sylverstar00, I’ve run into the same problem with Crunchyroll recordings using Audials. Unfortunately, it’s mostly due to their DRM protection, which is really strict and prevents screen capture from actually saving the video. Some people have had limited success using a virtual machine with an older OS version or using an external capture device, but it’s tricky and not guaranteed. I’d suggest reaching out to Audials support directly—they sometimes release workarounds for DRM-heavy sites, though it may take a while. Hang in there!
