Audials 2025 won't start following .NET upgrade

Recently Microsoft delivered a .NET update that seems to have broken Audials. The splash screen appears briefly, then vanishes again. Opening Windows Event Viewer, I'm seeing obvious errors related to the file Audials.deps.json

Description: A .NET application failed. Application: Audials.exe Path: E:\Program Files\audials\Audials.exe Message: A JSON parsing exception occurred in [E:\Program Files\audials\Audials.deps.json], offset 0 (line 1, column 1): Invalid value. Error initializing the dependency resolver: An error occurred while parsing: E:\Program Files\audials\Audials.deps.json Has anyone else seen this?

  Yep, I ended up downloading the package and reinstalling, which cleared the error and all seems well now.

  Just for Info, Audials will use still the old outdated Version 6 .Net, which will not get anymore updates since last year. So you can't get an update anymore for that .Net version, as already mentioned your version just seems to be broken. ;)

  Thanks for sharing this—yes, I’ve seen similar issues since the recent .NET update. It looks like the update may have corrupted or become incompatible with the Audials.deps.json file. You might try repairing or reinstalling Audials, or rolling back to a previous .NET runtime version if possible. Hopefully, Audials releases a patch soon.
