Upgrade to 2025 and webview2 problem
Hi, I have been with Audials for many years and purchased several versions. I love the program. I still have several year versions on my computer, the current being Audials One 2024 Ultra. If I upgrade can I remove the old versions, I have been afraid to lose some important settings or files. If I do buy the latest version, do I first uninstall the 2024 version? Or do I do it after installing the 2025 version?
Also, I keep getting the error missing a file Webview2, even thought the only thing that changed was I did an update on Audials as it requested. I then searched for the missing file and found one for Microsoft edge only. Now I can record from the internal recorder. This has happened before to me. Was it done by Audials to try and force me into doing an upgrade to 2025? If I do upgrade to 2025 and install it, will it fix this problem?

Hello,
you can uninstall the older Audials Version if you desire, but it is not necessary. The recorded files will not be lost if you uninstall Audials.
The new Audials 2025 Version will be installed separately, as a new program.
Webview2 is a Microsoft component, nobody is forcing you to upgrade. If you need help with the Microsoft component, you can always contact the support team at support@audials.com
