Recording from Prime Video fails
Windows 11, 16GB RAM, Audials Movie 2024
Attempts to record video from Amazon in either Video Recording or Batch Recording fail. As soon as I choose "Add video to queue" and select Amazon Video I get the following error:
"That shouldn't have happened.
It looks like something went wrong on our side. Let's find you a great video to watch instead."
This also occurs when I attempt to record from MS Edge.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Audials and the Prime Video for Windows app and the OS is completely updated. I am able to record from Netflix and Disney+.

Hello,
indeed this problem could be reproduced today also by the Audials support and development department (during the weekend they are free that is why it took so long for a feedback from them)
A fix will be provided soon, you can check also our page with release notes or current known issues, there will be also written when a fix will be available -

On my PC, the situation did not improve even after updating to Streaming Service 3.3.892.0.
However, after experimenting, I found that the error can be avoided by following the steps below, and recording can be performed without any problems.
1. After the error is displayed,
2. Select "Music" from the menu bar displaying Amazon prime on the same screen, and open Prime music once. After that,
3. Select "Prime video" again from the same menu bar.
On the prime video screen that opens after the above steps, I could be able to select the title as usual and play and record. -

I now have a different behaviour, I am not sure why. When I go to Amazon Prime on Internal Browser I now see the error message briefly and then the normal page and recording now works (at least for a single recording, I have not tried batch yet) before I saw the normal Video home page and then the error message.

It's interesting that you can record from Netflix and Disney+ but not Prime Video or house of hazards. This suggests the problem might be specific to how Audials interacts with Amazon's or Edge's video playback methods.
