Just purchased 2024.  Recorded a stream and got the "failed" message.  Viewing the failed recording, the video is fast, maybe 5-10x fast: audio is a hum and people moving fast.  Then it stops for a beat and then races on again.  Tried three times and still fail.  Help options not helpful

    Hello,

    Please try the following:
    - Change output profile (select a different output profile than the one previously used with/without GPU encoding)
    - Temporarily change the Audials storage location to the desktop.

It seems you’re encountering a known issue with Audials version 24 where users have reported a “failed” message after attempting to record videos from YouTube. This problem appears to be specific to the newer version of Audials, as you’ve noted that it does not occur with an older version on a different computer.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

Check for Updates: Ensure that you have the latest version of Audials installed, as updates often include bug fixes for known issues.

Review the Support Forum: Visit the Audials support forum to see if others have experienced similar issues and if any solutions have been provided.

Clear Temporary Files: Sometimes, clearing temporary files can resolve recording issues. You can do this within the Audials settings or manually by navigating to the temporary files directory.

Disable Security Software: As some users have Dog Agility Training reported, security software like Malwarebytes or Kaspersky might interfere with the recording process. Temporarily disabling these may help, but be sure to turn them back on after testing.

Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Audials customer support for assistance. They may provide specific instructions or patches to fix the problem.

Reinstall Audials: As a last resort, you could try uninstalling and then reinstalling Audials. This can sometimes resolve unexplained issues that occur after an upgrade.

Remember to back up any important data before making changes to your software or system settings.

    Hello,

It sounds frustrating to encounter such issues when recording videos. Since the problem doesn't occur on another computer running version 19, it seems like it might be related to the software version or a specific setting on your primary computer.

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Update Your Software: Ensure that the software you are using for recording is updated to the latest version. Sometimes, bugs that cause errors like these are fixed in newer updates.
Check for Errors: Look for any error logs or messages that might give more details about what is failing.
Reinstall the Software: If updating doesn't help, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the software. This can often resolve hidden issues related to corrupt files or configurations.
Compatibility Settings: Try running the software in compatibility mode. Right-click the application icon, go to 'Properties', then 'Compatibility', and select an older version of the operating system.
Use Version 19: If the above steps don’t work and version 19 works fine, consider using version 19 on your primary computer if it's feasible.
If none of these steps work, you might want to reach out to the customer support of the software you're using. They could provide more targeted assistance based on your specific situation.

Best of luck, and I hope this helps resolve the issue quickly!

    Best regards,
