Can someone explain what an "internal browser" is?
I am confused. Each time I record it says I am using an internal browser. I put in a support ticket for missing frames. They ask me to switch to a supported browser. I don't know what type of browser the "internal browser" is.
Can someone explain?

Thank you. I am new to Audials. That is all I have ever used, so far. Is that the safest one to use? In what cases would I need to use the other browsers; Chrome, Firefox, Netflix?
While I may have your attention, but not quite on topic, can you explain why Amazon recordings are all at 1280x720? I assume this is not a setting I made in Audials, but just the aspect ration of the movies on Amazon?

Hello Mirela,
Using the internal browser is so convenient I cannot see why or in what circumstance I would use anything else. Unless for some sort of workaround only another browser could perform.
Are there times when only the use of a browser other than the internal one is required?
Can I start a recording on Chrome and continue using the internet on Edge, for instance?

Its best not to. Recording takes up a lot of processing memory and by doing other things may cause skips and errors.
One other thing I found out, my standard browser was Firefox. About 4 months ago I noticed it would not record correctly, I'd get an error message of 'missing frames' on each recording. I then tried Edge and works perfectly. No idea why.
