RECORD SOUND BUT NOT PICTURE

Just recently I purchased Audials One 2024.  I use the record screen method.  everything was going fine until recently, after the latest Audials update a couple of days ago.  I can only record sound but not picture.

  I recently had the same problem with the 2023 version, so I updated the 2024 version, and continue having the same problem.  HELP!

  Well, johnglavin. all I can say is I'm back recording with picture.  i can tell you the steps i took, mind you, i don't know what i did the trick or not.

  first, i contacted support. no help there, but they did give me the  idea to make sure windows was updated.  I went to Windows Update, scroll down to Advanced Options, from there, Optional Updates, there i click on a update that i saw might help.  (I know diddly squat about computers.) my pc is an ASUS.  so i clicked on a ASUS update.  after the update was done, i tried at recording.  nothing changed.

  the next day, out of curiosity, i tried recording again.  lo and behold, i was recording with picture again.  i don't know if the update did the trick.   but there it is.

  Oz, I have an old HP tower, and I took an hour to connect with all their updates, ran their filters to clean things up, and -- it works!  Thank you so much!

  no!  It stopped working out of NOWHERE about two weeks ago.  Did the same happen to you?

  I went to Amazon to record a 1-.long movie.  when it was done.  No picture.  I have NO clue what to do.

  Were you using Source/Screen Recording or the Amazon/Freevee button as the source?

  IF from Source/Screen, was the source From the graphics card or the screen?

  sorry. it took me so long to  get back. i used the source/screen recording method. remember i know diddley squat about computers so i have no idea if i was using  graphic card.
