Recording failed in Audials 2024
When I recorded a video in Audials 2024, the recording failed. I'm recording CBS videos on my Windows 11 Lenovo laptop.

Mine is failing also. The 2022-2023 when it failed they pointed to Malwarebytes or any ransomware software, but both my Malwarebytes, and Kaspersky was deactivated. I was recording from Youtube, and it failed to join. I tried doing screen recording with detect and after stopping the recording process it failed also.
Windows 10.

Just upgraded to 2024...2023 was working fine...but upgrade Video recording is NOT working...error ("connecting...failed")...this happens with Any Video Source/Video Quality/Recording method...New Version is supposed to be faster...HAH...upgraded because 2023 was SLOWER than 2018...Its seems Audials Is retrograding...IF we get an update for this issue and speed is not improved I will not be upgrading any longer...In the past year I have been using free Video download software that is faster and more reliable...only using Audials for music recording and music conversion...that will soon stop as there a lot of good free programs that do this...Audials appeal was I had one App for these three activities...which is all I use for...
****Follow up****Just downloaded latest Update...still no recording

I am also having trouble with video/audio recording. It starts normally, but after the recording it says "failed".
I've been looking for a way to fix this, and I am having no luck. Just "failed". There was an update this morning, which doesn't appear to have addressed this particular issue.

Same here, updated to 2024 even upgraded to ultra. So far it's been a waste of money. I've spent more time trying to get it to record when i could have just watched the movie directly. 1X works 50% of the time, but if i go any faster or use parallel then all bets are off, either it fails or it never starts. resource usage usually sits at 100% according to audials, even though task manager shows maybe 30% usage on the system in total....this is beyond frustrating.

Some recording issues may be related to hardware acceleration. Try disabling hardware acceleration in the Wordle Audials settings or your web browser (if you're using a browser to access CBS videos).

***Update***Resolved***
Contacted Audials support...Andrea from Support ran point on this issue...I couldn't record Youtube Videos...turns out I did not have YOUTUBE-DLL.EXE in the folder...
- C:\Program Data\Audials\Audials 2024\Pluginsmanager\external downloaders\
Had to change a setting In Options\Music Services\...to "Capturing method;Download"...
Strange that a music setting would affect Video recording...but it worked. Don't have any Streaming services so cannot say if I would have an issue recording them...

Software updates often include bug fixes and improvements that can address recording issues. Hello Neighbor

You should review your hard drive to see if there is enough space to hold the video? The computer's hardware also needs to be checked at this time. I'm a wordle happy if I can be of any assistance to you.

Try recording again using other recording applications to determine if the problem is with the Audials 2024 software cookie clicker. If the problem persists, contact Audials support for further assistance.
