when recording from Hbo max you only get the options to record from web browser (no internal player options. 

 

it records fine but when recording a tv show the recording doesn't stop/start per episode it continuously records. so there is no splitting of episodes. 

is there a way around this if no internal video player is not an option.

  i am having the same issue, while i used to be able to record episodes it would split automatically but not anymore. And this was me using Chrome not the built in webbrowser. Also one show Wonder Woman is FF HD but not 1280x720 so i had to make a custom resolution. Guess what, after an update i now find i can't set a custom resolution anymore. they are making this useless. i am ready to ask for a refund.
