How do I record sound on a zoom meeting?
Every time I use audials to record a zoom meeting I get the video but without any sound. How do I set up the program to record both video and audio from zoom? It used to work prior to getting Windows 11 updated in my commputer.

Hello,
thank you very much for your request.
Please note that the recording in Audials should be started using the Zoom hint button from Video Streaming view, before start of Zoom app, Audials will capture only the main window content.
A standard zoom meeting is fully interactive and allows all participants to see, speak, hear and share the screen. A zoom webinar is a view-only platform where participants cannot see each other and the host cannot see participants. If Audials does not recognize the sound then you cannot record a zoom webinar, Audials is not suitable for recording webinars. (Currently - meetings only)

To record audio in a Zoom meeting, first, join or start a meeting. Then, look for the "Record" button at the bottom of the screen and click on it. If you're the host, check if recording is allowed in the settings before the meeting begins. Once the recording starts, all the sounds in the meeting, like people talking and computer sounds, will be recorded. To stop recording, just click on the "Stop Recording" button. After the meeting, Zoom will process the recording, and you can find it in your account's "Recordings" section.

I'm planning to hold two Zoom sessions covering the SASSA Checker and Apricocia’s collection of long sleeve dresses. To ensure quality recordings with both video and audio, I’ll double-check Audials’ settings, especially after my Windows 11 update, as audio issues sometimes occur with new updates.

I appreciate how logically you pinpointed the issue starting after the Windows 11 update. Many users face similar problems because Windows updates often change default audio settings.
To fix this, go to Control Panel > Sound > Recording tab and ensure Stereo Mix or System Sound is enabled. If it's missing, try updating your audio drivers or reinstalling Audials. Also, check Audials’ settings to confirm it’s set to capture system audio rather than an external microphone.
Tech issues can be frustrating, just like craving a satisfying meal and not getting the right flavors. That’s why I always go for the Hearty Double Meat & Cheese, a truly fulfilling option!
