I should also add I'm using the Copy Link in Amazon Music to do the capture where Audials will build the list and download it all (the automatic way I guess).

    Hello,
the reported issue has been fixed in Audials 2021.0.220.0, Streaming Service 3.3.614.0. This week a new search plugins package will be published, so a few more improvements should be noted.

now, if you all do have the same issue, it would really help our developers to write to support department the following details in order to help you further properly: complete Audials and Amazon Music version number, used recording method, used album/playlist, if this behaviour happens only with specific tracks or in general, a sample of such a recorded file, screenshots during the recording, all the generated logs zipped.

    Thank you for your understanding!

The problem has been going on for a while. I'll give the new version a go once I see it come out. The problem is that I went around in circles last time and never got much solved. It should be something that is pretty easy to reproduce as it happens frequently and as others have reported here been an ongoing issue.

I'll get the new version and take notes of the tracks/album and all detailed setting for the next run. But honestly I don't want to do your QA work on the product. Their has been MANY reports of this specific issue from day 1 on Amazon HD downloads.

Happy to report but really my time is limited to what I can do here.

So not much better on the current version, just pulled the updated version of 2021 here is the info -

    Amazon Music (HD) 8.7.0.2277

    Audials 2021.0.220.0, built on 8/10/2021
    Streaming Service 3.3.627.0
    Server: prod-asky05.audials.com/
    production_20210831_102527_af842f3bb981

Selected the PUT MUSIC FROM AMAZON TO AUDIALS

Picked an album in ULTRA HD - "The Tragically Hip - Yer Favourites [Explicit]"

Audial 2021 settings - 3x  Quality Ultra HD, 96000 kHz Flac Auto Connect at Start

In trying this album it seems to chop off the beginning of the songs as before. When 2021 start to capture you hear in the speakers an initial garbled sound for what amounts to the missing content that is captured in each track. I can't verify this but seems like the case where the garbled sound is heard the track will be missing content.

What else can I provide that will help with this.

    hankk,

I will start testing the same album, but it would be really helpful if you could send your logs and your system information at the support department, that way our developers could investigate the issue in more details.

start Audials as an admin > go to Audials Options > General Troubleshooting view > enable the extended logging > reproduce the problem again > close Audials > zip entire LOG folder and send it to our support department.

    thank you!

    hankk,

as promised I made a few tests, I have left Audials and Amazon Music running on two different test systems, no other apps were running, on one system I recorded only a few tracks to check the quality and it was perfect, on the other I left the recording work for the entire album and listened the beginning and end of all the tracks and the songs were properly recorded... I know that this sounds annoying but our test and support departments can really not reproduce this issue... at our support department we have also confirmations from a few users that the released update fixed their issues.

so, it is very important for our developers to get as many details as possible from each user who can reproduce the described issue ...

complete Audials and Amazon Music version number, used recording method, used album/playlist, if this behaviour happens only with specific tracks or in general, a sample of such a recorded file, screenshots during the recording, the system information file and all the generated logs zipped... we are really trying hard to fix this for everyone.

    Thank you!

Thanks for the quick follow up.

Hopefully the information I provided was enough to get this going. If their is anything needed beyond that I provided let me know.

In all cases where I here the scrambled start (and a successful capture) the start of the song is generally truncated. Quality is OK, but missing the start. I have compared the start of recorded songs with streaming directly from Amazon and can see that 2021 is skipping the start of these songs.

I will go to another machine and perform the tests again with the same exact configurations and see if it happens (It did the last time I spent time on this problem).

Please confirm that the captured track starts at the same point as the original. This has been a big issues from the start. As mentioned you hear the sounds in the speaker at 3x or what ever and eventually it captures, BUT it's missing the start.

    More as it unfolds.

With the latest Streaming Service 3.3.711.0 the problem reappeared.

I find part of next track at the end of my track and this part is missing at the beginning of the next track.
