Can I edit or clip off beginning and ending parts of a downloaded video

Using DVD neXt COPY Oceans XStream 2021 on a Windows 10 Pro computer.

With this software can I edit a downloaded video file?  We are very new to this and the last video has unwanted advertisement clips at the beginning and end.

    Hi RDK45, 

    this function is not available in audials 2021 , but it will be in Audials 2022. We will also have a video cutting tool into our Audials Software.

    Denisa Aleman I'm not seeing the trim capability in the Beta or the video cutting tool. Can you point me to where I can find it?

    And is there a way to merge 2 video files?

    Denisa Aleman the link you sent is for 2021. I'm using the 2022 beta now, I'm just wondering if the ability to merge files will be included in the 2022 beta.

    Thanks Denisa Aleman. I'm trying out the new edit function now, but it's really frustrating. I just want to split a video into 2. So, grab 1 video from 0 seconds to 11 minutes, and a second video from 11 minutes to 22 minutes. It's impossible to select 0 seconds at the beginning. Is there a way to set the cut points by typing in the time? Any other tips?

    If the video editing fuction is not available for 2021 then why is it advertised as a function? I'v been spinning my wheels all morning trying to figure out why I can't find the edit function. That was the whole point of my purchasing a full version of 2021 was because it said you can cut out commercials, and even edit out the black bars from top and bottom of videos, and as luck would have it no sooner than I spend the money on actually buying a licensed copy the 2022 version comes out and I can't even upgrade, I'm being forced to buy yet another version. LAME!
