Amazon Music Streaming
I’ve just upgraded to Audials One 2021 and am having trouble getting drag & drop to work for recording Amazon Music. When I try, Audials tells me to click on the ‘share ’menu in Amazon and then click on the ‘copy link’ button. I’m not sure what to do then as nothing happens in Audials. I’ve tried pasting the link into the URL search window in Audials but then receive a message saying ‘Sorry no sources matching your input’. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong.

Hi Japeauk,
If using the Amazon APP I would suggest to play the Tracks in the Amazon APP and let Audials record it, that way it is at least recording without aborting every 2-3 Tracks, the Drag and drop Feature is pretty mouch useless since the Release of the 2021 Version, unless You want drop and record one track at a time and restart Amazon Music after every recorded Track because of the Aborting-Issue. If recording while playing with Amazon music make sure to check and edit the Tags afterwards because for some Reason Audials is not reading the Track-Information from the Amazon Music app and uses another Source for the Tags, which results in inaccurate Tags. I find it sad that the other Streaming-Services seem to be better supported since Spotify etc seem to get all the Developer-Love these days, and the Amazon Music-Service gets You High Res for a smaller Fee than any other Streaming Service.

I had various exhanges with Audials Support by email to try and resolve this - without success I'm afraid. The final email I received was as follows: "... it seems to be a problem with music.amazon.co.uk , we will discuss this further with our developers. As soon as we get any solution for this case, we will contact you." So may be sorted eventually but for now the advice is to use the second option & record while music plays
