Video convert to audio files cut short
Hi,
I'm using Audials One 2020 (latest upgrade) with Windows 10. I am recording a video stream from a website using Other Source/Screen Recording, High-quality Direct Recording, Record One Video. I have Convert Video to Audio selected. Output for the audio file is flac.
My problem is that I record a video of, say, 50 minutes but when I come to play the audio it is only the first 7 seconds. If I look in Recording Sessions, I see that the time of the file is set to 50 minutes. If I look at the file size of the flac in Windows Explorer, it is 263MB, which is clearly longer than 7 seconds of audio. If I play the file in Windows Groove, it indicates there are only 7 seconds of audio available but it plays the full 50 minutes. If I play the same file in Audials, it stops after 7 seconds. If I load it into Audacity to edit it, it loads only the first 7 seconds.
My question is, why is Audials setting a length of only 7 seconds in the file properties when the entire 50 minutes is actually there in the file, please?
Thanks.
