I've recorded some videos from various sources (Amazon and Xfinity for the most part) where the recording will come out looking stilted.

 

Since I use the auto frame rate recording I tried a test and at the same scenes where the video starts to look odd I've recorded those in all 3 frame rate selections. Those same scenes look stilted as well, no matter what frame rate I use. 

Any idea why the video looks smooth while playing in my browser yet the recordings, no matter what frame rate I use, looks stilted?

  even if you would try to record the same video using other browser version than the one you used until now, you will get the same behavior?
  you could write to support and send complete details for further investigations: Audials complete version number, link or name of the used Amazon video, used browser version, used output format and frame rate, screenshots illustrating the original and the recorded video, zip the entire LOG folder.

  Correct, I tried with Chrome, Edge and Firefox and had the same result. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll do that.
