Streaming from Spotify
For the first few days of buying Audials One 2020, recording from Spotify worked fine.
Then suddenly Audials will not connect with Spotify. It keeps on searching but cannot connect. I can use Spotify independently and it will allow me to drag a playlist header from Spotify to Audials but when I hit 'Download' on the Audials screen it tries and fails to connect to Spotify. Also if I drag and drop from Spotify into 'Music' on Audials, it still tries and fails to connect to Spotify I have reinstalled Audials to no effect.
Both Audials and Spotify and listed exclusions on my firewall
Any help would be appreciated because as it is Audials is useless

I did not manage to get a solution to this. Audials wanted a lot of information from me which I supplied across several emails including a video showing what happened. In the end they said that they would pass the matter on and it would probably be rectified with the next update. No idea when that will be nor if it will solve the problem.

Hy Dandoodle , please make sure that you have installed the last Audials and Spotify versions. A new Audials update will came this week. If this issue persists, please do not hesitate to contact us on support@audials.com.

Denise, I have exactly the same problem. I reckon Spotify is blocking your software. I am sure many people bought your software to download Spotify music. If you cannot get it to work properly, everyone should get a refund. Please sort this issue out and put out a proper solution to your users.

The problem never was fully resolved however, Audials still states that it cannot connect with Spotify which it reinforces with an endlessly looping circle. The work around that I now use is to open streaming and then hopefully get a sub screen stating that Audials will record what is played through my sound card. I then open Spotify, select and start to play the tracks that I want to record. Audials does manage to record most of them in their entirety and correctly name the tracks. However, some tracks do not get named correctly (anonymous recording) and some get split into two separate recordings . I am therefore getting a partial result but certainly not what I was led to believe when I purchased the product.
