Audials 2019 - Configuring storage & output
My original question before I got tangled in software localization issues:
Hello -
I am attempting to configure the output folders and filenames for new audio files in Audials 2019 (Audials Options > Storage & output).
My source is Spotify.
For example purposes, assume my base media output folder is "C:\Audials"
The content is from a number of albums. Many of the track names are duplicated in more than 1 album. For example: albums 1 and 2 may both have tracks titled "Prologue".
What I would like to do is create a new subfolder for each album, with just the track title and extension loaded to the folder, For example: If the album is "West Side Story" and the first track is titled "Prologue", I would want it output as "C:\Audials\West Side Story\Prologue.mp3".
Nothing is simple....
Unfortunately for this set of tracks, there apparently is no value being retrieved from Spotify for the file attribute 'Album'. I guessing the nomenclature is 'Album.name'(?) . I'm still getting this all figured out, but my experience has been the value I want is usually loaded to 'Album'. But not here. Album is blank, probably Null. Instead the value I would expect to see loaded to 'Album' is being loaded to 'Album ID'.
I don't see an instance of 'Album ID' in the pre-defined configurations. I tried creating a new definition using '{Album.ID}' but that didn't work. Probably did it wrong anyway.
I can feel myself falling deeper into the rabbit hole.
Could someone guide me to where and/or how to resolve this issue?
Would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Todd
