Is this the first Song of an Album or Playlist?

Sometimes i have the same problem with Spotify when i start a new recording session. The first song is often not correct at the start. I take the first song twice in a playlist. But not both same song in a row. then it should be recorded right at the beginning

    Hi...

Yes this is the first song of the album on Tidal, I will try your work around to see if it helps. I hope they can address this issue in future release.

    Thank you!

It has done this from day 1 of buying this software, recording from Amazon music stream. Very frustrating, apparently nothing is being done about it. It completely sucks to have the first note or beat of a song beginning cut from the recording.

is it Amazon Music software or web player?

if you turn off sound or make it very low Audials can really miss audio ... so, as suggestion don't turn off volume, it should be on some "average" level near 50% of higher and also Amazon player should be in normal mode (not minimized).

try to increase the volume level (both in OS and in player/browser). If volume level is very low, Audials can cut the first seconds because of silence detection algorithm.

    Hi Jamey

I have see the same issue on both Audials 2019 and 2020. I am following Oxenkopf1971 excellent suggestion of adding the sang at the end of the playlist.

I also see instances where the beginning of the next song is recorded at the end of a song- typically 0.5 to 1 sec or so. My fix is to load every song into WavePad (from NCH software), examine the file then 'Split' and 'Join' the section to correct then use Mp3Tag to adjust the file tags as needed.

No matter which service I down toad from , including the drop and drag for Spotify, the first 2 or 3 seconds

of the song. This would be a outstanding piece of software if it worked. It just doesn't and they seem to be in denial about it.  The You Tube function is amazing which is the only reason, I've kept it.

My guess, and I have two, is 1. They don't know how to fix it or 2. Pressure from the streaming companies, keep them from fixing it. I'm very chose to giving up on and that's too band, I have 10 clients wanting to see if they should include it in their 2020 budget. Right now, I can't give the go ahead,as it doesn't work.

    * Same issues with recording Spotify function. Records tracks OK, but theres clicks during track?

    Settings on Normal etc.

Any solution to properly record Playlists in Spotify without clicks or cut songs?> Using creative soundblaster audio drivers.
