Only getting 480P when recording movies

I have a fast 600MB internet connection, my computer is an i9-13900k with 64GB DDR5 ram, Nvidia RTX 4090 video card and two 4TB M.2 NVME drives so the computer is up to the task of recording a stream.

If I watch the steam it will be in High def on computer or 4k on my TV. Computer screens are 1440P. But whenever I record a video I only get 480P. I have followed everything I can find on the internet for settings and still cannot get the resolution up higher. Any clues what I can do to improve this?

  I'm in the same boat. Is there a way to "force" 720p or better? I only see options for "auto" quality and the like from the streaming provider. I too have 600/600 fiber internet.
